Leading environmental waste management company, ACM Environmental PLC, is delighted to announce that the H+K Equipment Ltd is a winner of a Greener Path Award.
In association with the British Council for Sustainable Development, the Greener Path Awards were formed to celebrate the great work businesses across the UK are doing in reducing the impact they have on the environment.
Businesses who have demonstrated exemplary effort and achievement in minimising waste, boosting recycling and increasing landfill diversion while seeking out innovative and sustainable ways to handle waste streams have been recognised and celebrated.
H+K Equipment Ltd, global leaders in providing equipment and service solutions to the restaurant and retail industry, is one such business and receives a Greener Path Award for ‘Consistently high quality of recyclable materials’. H+K has applied a great deal of effort to ensure that any traceable ‘contaminants’ appearing in recyclable material receptacles are maintained at extremely low levels.
Andy Jacobs, Chief Executive of ACM Environmental said “We are delighted that H+K Equipment is a recipient of this Greener Path Award. We have worked in partnership with them to help implement an environmentally-sound waste management strategy and to see them achieve such sustained and impressive results is extremely gratifying.”
Albert Pinnock, Operations Manager at H&K Equipment Ltd, added: “We’re thrilled to have won a Greener Path Award from ACM. We set ourselves the highest targets for our waste and recycling operation, it’s wonderful to be recognised for our achievements”.
ACM Environmental’s expertise can help businesses meeting their corporate, social, and environmental responsibilities; and achieve the triple 'bottom line' benefit of people, profit, and the planet.
We strive to be the global leader in providing distinctive value through Integrated Equipment and Service Solutions to the restaurant and retail industry that enables our customers, partners and employees to succeed.
Based on our customers’ increased needs we are utilizing the Integrated Project Management model to actively develop new competencies in areas of field data collection and in the creation of architectural engineering drawings. This in turn translates into site execution while monitoring suppliers manufacturing schedules and influencing their inventory management. This extended role is particularly valuable in more mature markets with significant numbers of rebuilds and relocations.
