H+K Australia were proud to be awarded the annual ‘System First’ award at the Supplier forum in November 2015. H+K were selected from the complete McDonald’s Australia supply chain due to outstanding customer service from the team throughout the Create Your Taste roll out.
The Australia/NZ National Equipment Manager, Kylie Freeland, summarised the achievement by saying “‘Yes’ is the word that summarises the attitude from this supplier when executing the CYT initiative. They were presented with more questions than answers. We were building the plane as we were flying it. Each time a call was made, issues were resolved and action points taken. I am sure after hanging up the phone there would have been questions on how to achieve this, but achieve it they did!”
Well done to the team for delivering this project under significant time and cost constraints and still managing to uphold the highest customer service standards.

This extended role is particularly valuable in more mature markets with significant numbers of rebuilds and relocations.
