Internal Announcement:
H+K International has the tremendous honor to announce that Mike Azhadi has been awarded the Global Lifetime Achievement Award from McDonald’s for his 35 years of Service to the system.
The McDonald’s Lifetime Achievement award recognizes contributions over the whole of a career, rather than or in addition to single contributions. This award recognizes the efforts of an individual in support of their organization, McDonald’s and the people we collectively serve. These individuals have consistently demonstrated strong moral and ethical behavior in support of our Values, Exceptional leadership, service and a passion for excellence. Through their actions and contributions, the recipients have contributed to McDonald’s Supply Chain leadership.

After numerous promotions, he became General Manager at McDonald’s Sky Dome location in Toronto where he was responsible for the facility management of food and beverage services. Mike later served as Operation Development Manager, Equipment Development/Purchasing Manager and Manager of Design and Construction for McDonald’s Canada. Mike has been recognized with numerous awards such as McFlurry and MFY development and in 1996 was the recipient of the prestigious President’s Award.
Mike joined H+K Dallas in 2001 as Director of Sales for North America. In 2005, he was promoted to Vice-President, joined the Board of H+K International, was later appointed President of McDonald’s Global Account and subsequently Chief Global Officer. Mike has always delivered and coached a “System First” mentality, both at McDonald’s and H+K. He has truly been a part of the three-legged stool for over 35 years.
Mike was presented the award on a WebEx call by Francesca DeBiase, Executive Vice President and Chief Global Supply Chain Officer. Also, on the call from McDonald’s who some provided recognition and appreciation to Mike were Bob Stewart, Warren Anderson, Angelika Wendt, Jennifer McColloch, Francois Blasini, Kandace McCloud and Mike Large.
