Dallas, TX – H+K International (www.foodlockers.com and www.hki.com) is proud to announce its food locker collaboration with Sandusky, OH non-profit OHgo (www.ohgoreach.org).
In 2021, OHgo had a vision of what would eventually become the Be Well Box. H+K worked with OHgo on design, then called on its 50 years of experience engineering and manufacturing stainless steel kitchen equipment for restaurants, to turn OHgo’s dream into reality.
In October, 2022 OHgo launched its first Be Well Box, refrigerated food locker system with plans for more to follow.
The Be Well Box food lockers installed at Family Health Services in Sandusky distribute healthy, dietician-approved food supplies to the local underserved population. An eligible Family Health Services patient can receive a referral, during an appointment from either a participating primary care provider or registered dietician to gain access to a locker. They receive a unique code which can be entered at the locker to retrieve their supplies.
Food Lockers continue to gain popularity in restaurants, schools, sports venues and airports, and H+K can help you bring them to your business.

We strive to be the global leader in providing distinctive value through Integrated Equipment and Service Solutions to the restaurant and retail industry that enables our customers, partners and employees to succeed.
Based on our customers’ increased needs we are utilizing the Integrated Project Management model to actively develop new competencies in areas of field data collection and in the creation of architectural engineering drawings. This in turn translates into site execution while monitoring suppliers manufacturing schedules and influencing their inventory management. This extended role is particularly valuable in more mature markets with significant numbers of rebuilds and relocations.
